Warehouse Fulfillment

Summary:

The Fulfillment role executes the daily order picking, quality control and shipping process to ensure accuracy and productivity to service our customers. This role also helps execute shipping provider elements and general operational and facility needs. This is a seasonal (March-June), full-time position, 5 days per week that may lead to a permanent position. Some overtime may be required including Saturdays.

Essential Functions/Primary Duties:

• Accurately locate and pack products using proper packaging process and materials.
• Execute order quality control, packaging, and shipping procedures to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
• Ensure fulfilled orders are accurate to best service customer expectation.
• Ensure orders are packaged efficiently for cost effective shipping aligned with company and customer expectations.
• Support picking and packaging of freight orders and communicating with freight department.
• Multi-tasking with a high degree of accuracy.
• Duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in order fulfillment and ship processing and/or warehouse operations.
• Basic understanding/prior usage of tools used to support order picking, preparation, and packing.

Working Conditions:

The work environment includes frequent changes in temperature depending on the outdoor climate and occasional loud noises with no exposure to hazardous materials.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This is a non-supervisory position in the fulfillment department.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Regularly required to stand for long periods of time, kneel, climb, twist, move about the warehouse, and push, pull, and lift weights up to 40 pounds, including lifting above shoulder level.
• Regularly required to use hands and fingers to feel, touch, or handle objects and tools and reach with hands and arms.
• Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, day shift position with typical work hours of Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm or longer with occasional weekends. Overtime, including some weekends, is expected during our busy season of April 1st to July 1st each year.
