We are looking for an experienced Ready Mix Concrete Batch Plant Operator in Madison County IL. This is a full time position with possibility of extensive overtime.
Plant operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the plant on a daily basis. This includes batching, preventative maintenance of the plant, management of drivers and ensuring plant adheres to all regulations and permit conditions. Safety must be #1 priority.
Responsibilities-
- Manage the drivers
- Batch all the concrete quickly and accurately
- Manage the material inventories
- Oversee the safety of all the employees
- Oversee the trucks at your plant
- Oversee the leftover concrete
- Have a general knowledge of computer/batch plant
- Be able to communicate with dispatcher well
- Be able to work in a fast pace multi-tasking environment
