Innkeeper
Attend to breakfast and emergent needs of BnB guests and oversee the security of the main building during the shift.
Responsibilities
- Be ready in full uniform and two pots of coffee ready for guests by 7am.
- Read all the breakfast menus and prepare any special needs.
- Have all tables set before their desired breakfast time, and have coffee cups and sugar caddies on breakfast tables
- Set seats 1 and 4 for two guests, and use the tables by the windows first
- Have a pitcher of orange juice, a pitcher of apple juice, and ramekins of butter ready and available
- Make sure there are extra supplies ready when necessary
- Reset tables as soon as possible.
- Do not wait until everyone is gone if you have opportunity
- Do not leave the building other than an emergency
- Contact either the manager or company owners if you have to leave.
- Know the locations of the first aid kits, fire extinguishers, towels, and linens
- No alcohol consumption while innkeeping
- The office and public areas are under surveillance- use the side bathroom for changing
- Confirm keys from all inn guests upon checkout
Requirements
- Capable and willing to address urgent guests needs, and lead them in case of an emergency
- Capable and authorized to make bloody mary and mimosa cocktails
- Successfully complete innkeeper training and quiz
Shift Information
- Shift is from 9 pm to 11am
- Uniform- dinner uniform (tie optional), and name tag
- $75 for the stay Tuesday - Thursday, and $100 for the stay Friday & Saturday, plus potential breakfast tips
- A dinner meal (no steak or seafood) will be available if you worked the previous dinner shift, and breakfast the following morning
