Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial operations, focusing on preparing financial statements for multiple entities, managing accounts receivable, and handling billing for Kier Property Management. This role requires strong financial acumen, proficiency in preparing financials, and effective communication with property owners. The ideal candidate will also oversee employee benefits and support various aspects of financial management, working closely with our leadership team to ensure accuracy and compliance.
What You Will Do:
- Manage and prepare financial statements for multiple entities.
- Handle accounts receivable processes and ensure accurate financial records.
- Oversee billing for Kier Property Management.
- Conduct financial analysis, including reviewing statements for discrepancies and large variations.
- Reconcile bank, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Process cash receipts and ensure accurate journal entries.
- Communicate with property owners to address financial inquiries.
- Ensure proper benefits administration and maintain personnel financial records.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to support financial reporting and compliance.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1 – 2 years of related experience in accounting and financial statement preparation.
- PREFERRED – 1 – 2 years financials for multiple entities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in accounting software, property management systems (Yardi), and Excel.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financials to owners and stakeholders.
- Experience with accounts receivable and general ledger management.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to manage financial processes efficiently.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 25-50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move larger items
- May be required to occasionally work over-time
