What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Cost Analyst (Contingent) position at KIHOMAC?
- Develop detailed cost estimates, manage budgets, and conducti financial analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Perform variance analysis, prepare and present cost reports, and implement cost control measures
- Gather and maintain accurate cost data
- Collaborate with various departments to support cost related decision-making
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Utilize cost analysis tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial evaluations, contributing to the organization's overall financial health and strategic planning
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business with a minor/concentration in Economics, Business with a minor/concentration in Accounting, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Data Science, or Applied Mathematics required
- 24 semester credit hours in quantitative analysis courses are required
- 12 years of professional experience in the task area required
- 2 years of experience in a leadership/management role required
- Must be a US citizen
- Successful candidates will be required to obtain a DoD issued Secret clearance within 90 days of start date
- Active DoD issued clearance at level Secret or above preferred
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
