Job Description:
The Sales Coordinator’s primary role is to help the company’s sales efforts and productivity. This includes but is not limited to contacting customers and external sales reps, order processing and data entry, administrative account management duties, and other necessary support as needed.
In conjunction with working with a Sales Manager, we are looking for a self-starter with strong customer service and interpersonal skills to join our team in a fast-paced and creative environment.
The position is based in our NYC office (NoHo).
Job Duties:
- Support the company’s wholesale sales efforts.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by accurately processing orders and promptly addressing queries.
- Communicate via phone and email with sales reps and wholesale/B2C customers to manage requests and orders.
- Collaborate with departments such as Logistics, Accounting, and E-Commerce to address customer needs and manage orders.
- Build strong relationships with sales reps.
- Handle order management and entry.
- Complete item setup forms.
- Maintain and update information in databases and systems.
- Prep, pack, and ship samples from the office.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned to support sales efforts and the broader team..
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2–4 years of experience in a sales coordinator, customer service, or similar role.
- Strong customer-first attitude aligned with company values.
- Experience working with sales reps, large wholesale retailers, and independent retailers.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Takes ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- Skilled at prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- High proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to collaborate and support others in a small team environment.
- Flexible, eager to learn, and open to new challenges.
- Trade show experience is a plus; potential travel may be required.
- Strong team player.
Compensation:
The salary is $65,000 with generous PTO including EOY week off in December, health, and dental insurance (employee pays a portion); 401k retirement plan; and transit-check program.
The location is in the popular NoHo area.
