SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this position is to own the responsibility & success of the back of house operations as well as front of house merchandising, replenishment, and recovery, to manage inventory, and to provide support to the Store Director. This individual must be able to analyze every aspect of the business, (retail sales, visual merchandising, product sell-through, profit and loss results), to identify areas of opportunity and be proactive in taking action and supporting the retail team to improve results. They will be responsible for organizing and coordinating all store logistic activity with the sales team.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business/Job Acumen:
- Support the Company’s beauty sales plans and
profitability goals.
- Handling internal and external queries
regarding stock.
- Monitoring stock to ensure loss is within
company limits.
- Proactively make suggestions based on analysis
and observations that will positively impact the business.
- Set measurable standards and goals based on
Company’s expectations and metrics. Abide by The Weekly for store
guidelines & timeline.
- Protect store assets and inventory.
- Uphold the company policies for back of house
procedures.
- Reviews, understands and can
clearly communicate business reports including the daily testers,
defective, and stolen log reporting.
- Supervises all merchandise
handling processes, including door to floor and back stock Processes.
- Ensures that inventory in LS
parallels physical inventory.
Leadership, Development and Performance Management:
- Ensures associates maintain an effective,
productive, and organized stockroom area.
- Conducts new associate stock training.
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are
communicated, understood and complied with.
- Ensure proper flow from offsite stockroom to
store.
Initiative, Responsiveness, Planning and Organizing:
- Ensure that the store always meets Company
standards with regards to merchandising; visual presentations;
housekeeping; and loss prevention requirements.
- Communicate effectively
concerns in regards to out of stock issues and discrepancies in a timely
manner to Store Director.
- Ensure sales floor is stocked to max capacity.
- Prioritize tasks and allocate time and
resources for self and staff according to importance and urgency to ensure
all paperwork and store operational requirements are completed on time.
- Ensure the store stock is prepared for audits
and inventories.
- Performs audits and transfers of defective
merchandise according to company policy.
- Executes product transfers effectively and in
a timely manner.
- Consistently follow up with holes in the
layout and effectively research and execute a solution.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 1 year stock management experience in
the retail cosmetics beauty industry (depending upon volume of business)
with a proven track record of managing a team; driving sales; and
providing excellence customer service.
- Full understanding of retail store operations.
- Planning, organizational, and performance retail
skills.
- Analytical skills with the ability to react to
business retail trends and identify areas of opportunity.
- Computer skills to include a retail
point-of-sale software system and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position, and typical work
hours will be aligned with warehouse access however nights/closing shifts may
be required in accordance with launches and weekend shifts may be required from
time to time.
