What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scan Coordinator (2810, Kilauea) position at Kilauea Market + Cafe?
We are currently seeking Scan Coordinators to join our Kilauea Market Cafe team!
Job Summary:
Scan Coordinators conduct weekly price changes, including changing shelf stickers, bonus buy signs, store specials, item updates/deletions from computer system and maintaining overall price integrity in the store. Will also perform office clerical services at the service center desk. Operate cash registers and checkstand to provide customers with accurate and efficient checkout service. Maintain and operate the Department in an efficient manner and to ensure that performance contributes to the best financial interests of the store. Scan Coordinators/Office Clerks are responsible for meeting the standards of excellent customer service under the Company’s World Class Service Program. This includes providing World Class Service and maintaining good relationships with all team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of retail customer service and/or office administration experience in a grocery environment preferred.
- High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must comply with all company policies and requirements.
- Must possess valid TB Clearance.

*This location has a premium pay of $2 which is included in the advertised rate of this posting. All non-worked hours including but not limited to PTO (Sick/Vacation), non-worked Holidays, and Worker's Compensation are not calculated with the premium pay advertised, but the base pay rate offered during the offer/onboarding stage.
