Description :
The Freight Coordinator will schedule incoming and outgoing cargo and freight shipments to be transported via truck, train, or other means.
Role and Responsibilities
- Coordinating with the warehouse manager to schedule Kilcoy managed inbound and outbound freight carrier deliveries / pickups of frozen and fresh perishable goods.
- Manage FTL / LTL domestic and international container loads.
- Negotiate rates & services with major cross-divisional carriers.
- Identify and utilize carriers that maintain food safety and quality standards.
- Utilize ERP software for managing orders and scheduling
- Understand, practice, and enforce Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP’s) and Company food safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of our products
- Performs other duties as assigned
