Position summary :
This 12-month position will report to the Dean of Health Sciences and be responsible for the department's overall academic and administrative leadership. This position will carry a 6–9-hour teaching load per semester.
Position responsibilities :
- Hiring, oversight, and evaluation of faculty and staff including orienting and mentoring all new faculty (including adjuncts) to the teaching responsibilities in the Rad Science program at the College and in the clinical sites
- Works with clinical coordinator and admin support to Secure / renew contracts from clinical education affiliations
- Participate in the development and assessment of the curriculum
- Manages program in accordance with JRCERT standards
- Ensures the curriculum, policies, procedures, and operations of the program meet ARRT standards
- Participate in accreditation reporting, preparation, and record-keeping
- Inventories and maintains the necessary supplies and equipment according to the budget projections
- Plans and reviews annual program budget
- Facilities management / coordination
- Equipment oversight and replacement
- Work closely with other departments in the division to manage shared space and resources
- Maintain program enrollment
- Seek opportunities for program growth and expansion
Instructor
Prepares for and teaches classes as assigned while making good use of class time and keeping all classes for the scheduled period

All full-time positions are located in Kilgore, TX. No fully work from home positions are available at this time. All employees must be available to physically present to work on the Kilgore, TX or Longview, TX Campus. Some Part-Time and Adjunct positions may be offsite but the candidate MUST live in the State of Texas.
