Reports To : Maintenance Manager

Compensation : $30-$38

Kilgore, a Summit Material company, is looking for an maintenance mechanic supervisor. This position is responsible for managing our night crew with maintenance, mechanical repair and troubleshooting of our various aggregate plants.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing, directing and controlling maintenance operations for an assigned region with using FIIX
• Accountable for all maintenance activities including preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, equipment repairs and installations to ensure maximum uptime and productivity
• Responsible for preventative, predictive and corrective plant equipment maintenance
• Reviews operation of plant equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate problems and to identify opportunities for improvement
• Looks for ways to improve efficiency and / or reduce operating costs
• Establishes and maintains preventative maintenance operating procedures and programs
• Oversee special project construction or production addition
• Tracks, analyzes and improves key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, PM, compliance, schedule compliance, etc
• Provides guidance, planning, administration and direction to maintenance employees and outside trade vendors
