Pharmacy Technician, Long-Term Care - Full Time

Schedule:

• This is a full time position so availability to work 40 hours a week is needed.
• You can choose between the following M-F schedules: 7:30-3:30, 8-4, or 8:30-4:30.
• May occasionally need to work 1 Saturday a month.

Responsibilities include:

• Fills prescriptions in bubble pack cards as required per individual nursing home or group home request
• Adherence packaging
• Placing and receiving phone calls to group homes and nursing homes
• Syncing patients refills up for monthly fills
• Printable MARS
• Communicating with group homes regarding MARS
• Communicating with pharmacists about new orders
• Inputting new orders
• Keeps all medications organized on shelves and check for expiration dates as needed
• Keeps all work stations organized and clean from foreign debris while working throughout the day
• Completes cleaning duties assigned to department
• Follows procedures to put together daily deliveries to facilities
• Files prescriptions following store procedures

Pay Range:

$16-$18/hr with pay bumps available as you learn more within the pharmacy. Higher starting pay available if you have previous pharmacy or LTC experience.
Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of one year of customer service experience within the last six years
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
