Full Time or Part Time| Hourly Position
Reports To: Restaurant Manager/ General Manager
Job Summary:Responsible for greeting guests at the door, seats guests in appropriate area of restaurant/bar. Presents menus to guests in a friendly, professional and quick manner and informs guests of daily specials.
Principal Duties/Tasks:
- ✓ Greet all guests in a pleasant and timely manner.
- ✓ Ensure that work stations are stocked/filled before and after every shift.
- ✓ Advise supervisor of any member/guest complaints.
- ✓ Attend all meetings/training sessions requested by the supervisor.
- ✓ Keep all Food and Beverage areas clean at all times and assist with up-keep of all equipment.
- ✓ Serve food and beverage items that meet the standards, as outlined by the menus and health regulation.
- ✓ Maintain responsibility for all guest checks and turn them into your supervisor or designated area.
- ✓ Handle any problem that might arise both courteously and professionally.
- ✓ Set-up and break down tables, chairs, theme decorations and other equipment as requested.
- ✓ Operate within all guidelines, policies and standards.
- ✓ Ensure complete guest satisfaction from start to finish. Perform all duties necessary before and after breakfast/lunch/dinner service in accordance with Kiln Creek Golf Club & Resort's policy's and standards.
Physical Skills:Squatting, bending, kneeling is required. Carrying weight that exceed 25 lbs. with one arm and many duties that require carrying weight of 50 lbs. scrubbing walls/floors, walking and standing for periods of 6 hours or more per shift.

- ✓ Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including calculations involving fractions, decimals and percentages.
- ✓ Ability to carry out detailed written and verbal instructions.
- ✓ Ability to perform moderate physical work, may be required to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 25 pounds of food trays, carrying trays over their head constantly, and perform activities as bending, squatting, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting and grasping for 6 hours without sitting.

Required Work Experience:Not required but is recommended
Required Education:Thorough knowledge of food and Beverage service operational procedures as would normally be acquired through a high school education or equivalent.
Required Certifications/Licenses:Any certificate or special training such as, SERV-Safe, ABC certificate or any leadership courses is recommended but not required
Working Conditions:Work primarily indoors in a bar/lounge/restaurant environment. Exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement hazards, sharp utensils, extremely hot stoves, grills and food items, and dangerous chemicals/solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed.
Uniforms: business casual attire
Kiln Creek Golf Club & Resort is a zero drug and alcohol tolerance facility. Interested parties will be required to pass drug and alcohol testing and verification of social security information.
