About the Role :
As the Senior Community Manager , you will be the face of Kiln for our Carlsbad, Leucadia, and Solana Beach locations. You will oversee the day-to-day operations and lead a thriving community across all three sites, directly managing one primary site. You will act as the primary point of contact for members, guests, and external partners, driving member engagement, operational excellence, and sales. Your leadership will guide teams across locations to ensure alignment with Kiln's mission and values.
Goals and Objectives :
- Provide a world-class experience for Kiln members and guests at all three locations.
- Drive top- and bottom-line growth for the sites through P&L ownership and sales strategies.
- Implement practices to ensure operational excellence and consistency across sites.
As Sr. Community Manager You'll Engage In :
Site Leadership & Team Development
Lead daily operations, sales, and community engagement at the primary site while mentoring and supporting staff across two additional sites.Drive team alignment through meetings, training, and professional development initiatives.Act as the escalation point for complex member and operational issues.Sales & Membership Growth
Own sales pipeline, membership growth, and retention, with a focus on achieving ambitious occupancy targets.Develop innovative outreach and networking strategies tailored to the North County region.Negotiate high-value memberships and strategic partnerships to maximize profitability.Operational Excellence
Ensure consistency and operational excellence across all three locations, addressing member feedback and optimizing processes.Oversee major projects, renovations, and quarterly site performance reviews.Event & Programming Leadership
Design and execute impactful events at the primary site and across the region, collaborating with Marketing and external partners.Manage budgets and cultivate partnerships for innovative and cost-effective programming.Community Engagement & Culture
Foster a connected community through meaningful member engagement strategies.Represent Kiln externally to strengthen the brand and drive member satisfaction.As Senior Community Manager Youll Need :
2 years of experience in community management, coworking, hospitality, or related fields, with a proven track record of managing multiple locations.Strong leadership experience and a history of developing high-performing teams.Expertise in sales, pipeline management, negotiation, and revenue growth strategies.Operational management experience, with the ability to oversee multiple locations and ensure consistent service.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer engagement.Ability to multitask, stay organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Google Suite.A passion for fostering vibrant communities and supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem.An understanding and commitment to Kilns mission and values.More About Kiln :
