Role Summary:
The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Kiln’s warehouse and logistics functions. This individual will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and processing shipments, organizing materials, and supporting the procurement and build teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in maintaining efficiency and accuracy in warehouse operations, contributing to the seamless execution of Kiln’s projects and expansions.

Major Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and ensure proper storage of materials.
- Shipping & Receiving: Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments while coordinating outbound logistics to various Kiln locations.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and optimized for efficiency.
- Material Handling: Safely transport, load, and unload materials as needed, using forklifts or other equipment.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare and package materials for delivery or installation at Kiln locations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, build, and install teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement ways to enhance warehouse operations and efficiency.
Ideal Experience and Skills:
- Warehouse Experience: 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Inventory Control: Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and best practices for stock management.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and operate warehouse equipment.
- Forklift Certification (Preferred): Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks.
- Technology Proficiency: Basic computer skills for tracking inventory, processing shipments, and using warehouse management software.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and find efficient solutions.
- Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
