What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ice Cream Scooper -Nights and Weekends position at Kilwins Chocolates, Fudge & Ice Cream?
Are you a mature and hard working young adult? Do you need a part time and flexible job? Are you willing to work until 11pm and on weekends? We may be your job. We are hiring now to train for summer. By the time school lets out our staff will be full -summer staff start training in May.
This sales position is ideal for people who enjoy engaging customers and feeling proud of their work environment. Fast paced, high energy, you will make lots of people happy with ice cream and fudge sales.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Scoop and serve ice cream, ensuring proper portion sizes and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the serving area.
- Assist in food preparation and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills and experience in a fast-paced food service environment
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating POS systems
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently during nights and weekends
- Basic math skills for accurate cash register operations
- Experience in food preparation and upselling techniques is a plus
