Job Responsibilities
- Participate in product development projects for commercial furniture
- Develop and update data in our enterprise resource management system (SAP), CAD system (Solid Edge and product data management system (Teamcenter) to document engineering requirements
- Work with test lab to make sure products are safe, have minimal warranty risks, and meet customer requirements
- Proficient in MS Office tools
- Some experience with using CAD systems
- Basic understanding of bills of materials
- Understanding of materials used in furniture (Wood, Metal, Plastic)
- Currently in engineering or technology major. Preference will be given to mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology majors
