We are looking for a hands-on leader with practical operational and technical experience to lead our Business Intelligence team, comprised of Reporting Analysts and Data Engineers. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving the organization's data strategy, delivering robust analytics solutions, and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead, mentor, and develop the Business Intelligence team to align with organizational objectives, and actively participate in talent acquisition process when needed.
Manage the team of Data Engineers and Reporting Analysts who are dispersed globally and across the country.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into comprehensive analytical solutions.
Implement BI solution centered around Microsoft tech stack - SSAS, SQL, Power BI, SSIS, Power Automate, etc. with a focus on enterprise grade semantic data models and advanced data visualization.
Oversee data pipelines and data integration processes from SAP, Salesforce, ADP, and other sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs that empower business stakeholders with actionable insights.
Define and influence the team to follow best BI practices, including data governance, security, and performance optimization.
Innovate by exploring and integrating cutting-edge tools, technologies, and methodologies in analytics and BI.
Serve as the organization's primary contact for BI-related inquiries, fostering strong relationships across departments to enable measurable value for the enterprise.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is must, Master's degree is a plus.

Minimum 7 years of experience in business intelligence, or analytics field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Proven experience in managing a team comprised of onshore and offshore including contract resources.

Expertise in Microsoft SSAS and Power BI tool set, with proven experience in tabular semantic models and semantic data model concepts.

Proficiency in SQL, including managing data lakes, warehouses, and marts, with experience in tables, views, UDFs, CTEs, and stored procedures.

Familiarity with backend OLTP systems (SAP ERP, Salesforce, ADP) and thorough understanding of business processes like Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce, and Inventory-to-Ship.

Strong knowledge of data pipeline management, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques (e.g., Snowflake vs. Star Schema).

Proven ability to analyze business challenges through a data-driven lens and deliver measurable business values.

Experience with Microsoft cloud platforms, including Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and ML tools.

Knowledge of predictive analytics and machine learning is a plus.

Certifications in Power BI and SQL are preferred.
