What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Quality Coordinator- Kimball 15th Street, Jasper, IN position at Kimball International?
Provide technical expertise and guidance to support and continuously improve quality planning activities around the customer assisting in Corrective Action activities, quality reporting, pursuing continuous improvement and acting as a communication link between our KII Brands.
Requirements:- Provide technical expertise and guidance to KII Customer Service on field issues, product and application questions.
- Process RGA receiving, inspection of product returned due to quality issue by reviewing report and/or product as necessary. Understand and provide customer support and direction.
- Audit quality of QN product category entries.
- Assist in corrective action to prevent reoccurrence of quality issues.
- Participate in plant product audits.
- Work with plant personnel and engineers to clarify QN issues and identify trends.
- Maintain knowledge of manufacturing processes and product specifications
- Coordinate field customer visits and service trips approved by Leadership
- Develop professional rapport with our customers service customer representatives utilizing appropriate responsiveness to resolve quality issues, driving resolution. Response within 4 hours
- Responsible for reviewing and publishing of daily QN reports.
- Complete Daily QN Cause Coding thru SAP to identify trends, measure effectiveness of corrective action.
- Assist Quality Manager, Account Managers in inspection of Sales Inspect and Mock Up product and reviews
- Provide back up support to the Quality Group with inspection and auditing processes.
- Understand, support and execute the achievement of performance measures on scorecards.
- Support the Vision and Guiding Principles and other policies of Kimball International
- Follow and support the Quality Management System
