Kimball International is looking for someone to be the lead developer for our public facing websites built on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C platform (formerly known as Demandware). Our websites are a critical piece in our customer-focused digital strategy and this role will have direct influence and responsibility in the delivery of the solution. While primarily focused on coding and code reviews, developers who seek autonomy will find opportunities to influence architectural decisions as they collaborate closely with their team. Responsibilities :
- Develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C (formerly known as Demandware) application.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, business analysts, and project managers to determine technical design that will achieve desired business outcomes.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code that adheres to company standards and industry best practices.
- Conduct thoughtful and constructive code reviews.
- Suggest and implement improvements to projects, current architecture, and internal processes.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolutions to support ongoing operations.
- Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C features and functionalities.
- Partner with internal team members and outside resources to evaluate technology options, offering feedback and guidance.
- Ensure adherence to Kimball International's information management policies and procedures on information security, business resumption, and lifecycle management.
For candidates, not local and outside of a commutable distance, this position may be fully remote and will require to be onsite at our Jasper, IN headquarters at least one week per quarter. For candidates that are local or within a commutable distance, a hybrid work location arrangement will be considered with Mondays and Fridays remote and Tuesdays through Thursdays in office at our Jasper, IN headquarters.
