Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Customer Service Associate for our Columbus, Ohio location.

Responsibilities
- Provides excellent customer service for sales reps, customer, and internal staff via phone, email and Teams
- Understands and accurately relays information pertaining to various company processes, procedures, and programs
- Responsible for the order entry of phoned in orders and special order entry projects assigned by management
- Responds same day to all voicemails, emails, and Teams messages received within working hours
Qualifications
- A high school diploma, or GED
- Prior customer service experience (one year preferred)
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft software applications such as Outlook, AX, and Excel.
- The ability to multitask successfully in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to communicate professionally with management, sales representatives, customers and co-workers in both written and verbal form.
- The ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations; and the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
- Dependability (i.e. reports to work daily barring any unforeseen circumstances.)
- The successful completion of a ninety – 90-day orientation period.
Additional Information
This is a Monday-Friday role. The hours are 10:00am-6:30pm. After training is complete, this role will by hybrid after a 90-day training is completed. Training is on-site.
