Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a project related to data governance, Microsoft Purview, governance of terms, or data lineage, making a tangible impact on the organization.
- Learn about data management, classifying, organization, and retention policies.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of data developers, IT leaders, and business stakeholders to ensure top-notch data quality and thorough documentation.
- Partner with architects to support and drive data governance initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of robust data governance standards, controls, and processes.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a comprehensive data glossary and data catalog.
- Engage in dynamic discussions to refine and enhance data governance practices and policies.
- Integrate data governance tools and technologies into the organization's data ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
