Process Documentation Intern

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Product Documentation Intern for our Columbus, OH location.

 Responsibilities:

• Responsible for collaborating with subject matter experts to capture detailed step by step procedures, workflows, and best practices within the company approved formats.
• Develops user friendly manuals, guides, and process documentation that can be easily understood by team members.
• Identifies areas for process optimization and proposes enhancements.
• Assists in creating training materials and resources for process related training sessions.
• Works closely with stakeholders across the organization to gather information and validate documentation.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Technical Writing, Information Science, MIS).
• Familiarity with document management tools and software.
• The ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations; and the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
