Experienced Apprentice Plumber
Purpose:
As a skilled apprentice plumber, you will be an essential contributor to the success of our plumbing projects. Under the direction of journeyman plumbers, you'll gain hands-on experience installing, modifying, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems for gas, water, and drainage in compliance with current building codes. These projects may involve both single-family homes and multifamily housing. Your apprenticeship is a step toward obtaining your journeyman license, preparing you to eventually mentor future apprentices in the trade.
Key Responsibilities:

Train in the inspection, installation, modification, and maintenance of plumbing systems in accordance with building regulations

Learn to recognize and address safety and electrical hazards

Take corrective measures to resolve safety and electrical issues

Study and interpret blueprints effectively

Fill out quality control documentation accurately

Oversee multiple projects at the same time

Attend weekly evening classes as part of your apprentice training until you become licensed

Supervise subcontractors involved in the project

Develop and manage project timelines to ensure timely completion

Follow guidance from supervisors and learn through experience

Gain exposure to and assist with tasks in various phases of electrical work

Strong leadership qualities and ability to encourage and support team members

Commitment to delivering high-quality results

Clear and professional communication, especially when coordinating with builders, contractors, and project leaders

Understanding of standard methods, tools, and procedures in the trade

Willingness and ability to take direction and follow through

High school diploma or GED

Possess a valid driver's license

Dependable work ethic and consistent job site presence

Availability to work Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 5 PM, with occasional Saturdays
