Position Summary
Currently, we are seeking a Mechanical Facilities Engineer. The Mechanical Engineer for this role will provide leadership and creativity in the design, development, optimization, problem solving and operation of the Maumelle site facilities, utilities equipment & supporting processes in a manner that meets safety and operational performance expectations. The individual will report to the Maumelle Engineering Manager.
Area & Equipment Support Includes The Following
Sector Management, Project Sponsors, Staff Engineering, Portfolio Leaders, Mill Leadership, and Mill Asset Teams.
Responsibilities
Specific, in depth technical knowledge and expertise in Coform manufacturing or converting processes. Evidence of continuing self-development. Familiarity with equipment installations and startups. Working knowledge of facilities & utilities equipment

Responsibilities
- Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner.
- Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and guidelines.
- Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel.
- Lead single or multiple capital or major maintenance projects.
- Provide functional guidance in the design, development, and optimization of facilities & utility equipment and processes.
- Seek, recognize, define, and solve problems to achieve unit objectives.
- Identify complex technical issues and provide necessary solutions to eliminate root cause.
- Assist in the development of others within the area of expertise.
- Manage site contractors & utility contracts
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university and 3 years of experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments.
- Experience leading capital projects, adhering to Kimberly Clark’s capital execution practices, standards, and CFI’s.
- Experience working with external technical service providers
