Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Corinth, MS. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating design, development, optimization, and problem-solving of manufacturing processes to meet safety and performance expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and upgrade equipment and processes to meet safety codes, policies, and guidelines while providing accurate documentation.
- Work closely with fellow engineers on multiple equipment, product, or process improvement projects from conception through commercialization.
- Provide functional leadership and creativity in the initiation of design, development, and optimization of equipment and processes to meet unit objectives.
- Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis, LEAN principles, and project management.
- Identify complex technical issues and provide necessary solutions to eliminate root cause.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer who can lead cross-functional teams to achieve project results within required timeframes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering and 3 years or more of experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments.
The candidate should have knowledge of manufacturing control systems, including PLCs, variable speed and servo motor drives, HMI, sensors, and instrumentation. Experience working with Technical Service Providers and/or Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) is also desired.
