Operations Specialists Role Summary
This role is critical in sustaining core tools, analytics and reporting across the globe. The incumbent must have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, experience leveraging multiple data analytical tools to support the optimization of the global inventory.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing support in developing and maintaining Management tools, analytics and reporting on a Global basis.
- Functional leadership in application of stores & spare part management processes.
- Act as one of the Central Stores MRP Controllers, with the objective of managing supply of spare parts while maintaining optimal inventory levels at Central Stores.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and stores functions to make recommendations of appropriate stocking levels of spare parts to optimize inventory.
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics Data Science, or demonstrated experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated Strong analytical skills.
- A demonstrated ability with Data Science and/or Analytical connected tools including, Access, Excel, & VBA.
- Demonstrated SAP Subject Matter Expertise level knowledge and capability.
- 5 plus years' experience in a variety of operational assignments in a manufacturing, logistics, maintenance and/or staff environment.
