Senior Field Agronomist

Kimberly-Clark is seeking a Senior Field Agronomist to join our agriculture team. This position requires a motivated self-starter to assist with a variety of commercial and R&D tasks for a new crop. This role will require the right candidate to collaborate regularly with agronomists, scientists, and other cross-functional partners in the organization; oversee commercial agricultural production and partners; develop and deploy emerging agricultural technologies and equipment; and improve or expand sustainable farming practices; perform in-field trial work, support data collection, & analysis; be part of a fun, motivated team working on a highly impactful project! Provide agronomic oversight to commercial partners across the Southwest US. Conduct, analyze, and report on field activities to increase yield, maximize sustainability, and improve agricultural protocols for production of a new crop. Use digital technologies, platforms, and solutions to speed learning and develop best practices for use at commercial scale. Implement regenerative agriculture practices that improve the sustainability of the crop. Work in a cross-disciplined environment with high degree of flexibility, including working with external partner collaborations, public / private research organizations, etc. Perform field trials and conduct technically sound data collection, analysis, and reporting to the agriculture team in a timely manner. Communicate data and recommendations to the agriculture team. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications: Bachelors or higher in Agronomy or related field of study 6+ years relevant experience Live within commuting distance or ability to relocate to Western Arizona Capable of performing in-field tasks >75% of time, including physically demanding field activities in an outdoor environment in high Arizona temperatures Experience operating, testing, developing, and adapting agricultural equipment is a plus Knowledge of field trial methodology and data analysis Demonstrated ability to accomplish tasks independently, while functioning in a team environment, to complete projects within required timeframe and budget Effective communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to interact with cross-functional team members and external partners Have or ability to obtain FAA Drone Pilot License Demonstrated capability to build individual talent and continue self-development

Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
