Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Microbiologist, you will be responsible for conducting routine and non-routine microbiological testing on baby wipes finished product, production materials, raw materials, water, and specialized testing as required for troubleshooting or as part of an improvement project. You will also conduct all testing and work in conformance with established Good Lab Practices (GLP's) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's). Additionally, you will be accountable for micro team testing/results/record management, including good documentation practice audits for micro and operations, as assigned.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline, with 5 years of prior relevant experience in a regulated industrial microbiology lab or sanitarian role. You must have understanding of regulatory requirements, good lab practices, environmental monitoring, and trending of data. Previous experience with LIMS software / ETQ software / SAP software is also required. Excellent Microsoft-based computer skills to complete and update detailed specifications and reports, create pivot tables, Power BI, etc. are necessary.
