Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fine Dining Server to join our upscale restaurant team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and a passion for providing an outstanding dining experience. As a Fine Dining Server, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, managing guest relations, and ensuring that all dining areas are sanitized and presentable.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus, offering recommendations as needed.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using Digital Dining POS.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets fine dining standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing tables, utensils, and other dining areas regularly.
- Assist with bussing tables promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service.
- Handle POS transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently.
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance the dining experience.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
