Job Type Part-time Description
Kimberton Whole Foods is hiring! We are looking for a part-time Produce Stocker to join our Collegeville team!
Schedule : Part-time, approximately 24 hours per week
Availability : Monday and Fridays 9am-5 : 30pm, and Saturdays 12pm-8 : 30pm
Pay : $15-$17 hourly to start.
Age Requirement : Must be 18 years or older.
Benefits : Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.
DAILY OPERATIONS : The Produce Team Member’s primary responsibilities to execute the following.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all.
- Receiving and stocking all incoming fresh produce and related items.
- Rotating fresh produce on a first-in first-out basis.
- Working in collaboration with the Produce Department head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department.
- Follows the established KWF SOP for maintaining abundant, dynamic and fresh displays throughout the entire department.
- Understands KWF inventory management practices.
Requirements
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES :
- Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.
- Lifting, gripping and carrying objects up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products.
- Stooping, squatting, & kneeling stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
- Walking short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
- Standing- prolonged standing.
- Work environment movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).
