Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a fleet of trucks and trailers, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve profitability and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and oversee fleet maintenance programs.
- Lead, mentor, and manage drivers, supervisors, and dispatchers, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
- Address and resolve customer concerns, adapting operations to meet business needs.
- Conduct field inspections, audits, and safety checks to maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company policies.
- Prepare and analyze reports to inform business decisions, leveraging critical thinking to optimize outcomes.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing fleets and working with end-dump commodities.
- 5 years of proven experience in logistics, operations, and fleet management with a history of increasing profitability.
- CDL preferred; knowledge of maintenance protocols for trucking fleets required.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
- Advanced communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
