This position will be assisting an operator in all aspects of service rig operation.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be physically fit and able to climb and work at heights.
- Ability to do physical labor for long hours in all types of weather.
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
- Ability to lift in excess of 75 pounds.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass our background check and drug screen.
- Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable under our company policy, must be 21 years of age.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Safely work while drilling, tripping pipe or running casing.
- Operating tongs, slips, wrenches and other equipment required. Change tong and slip dies using hand tools and PPE. Ensures equipment and tools are safe to operate.
- Uses manual or automated means to move, position, lift, pull, push, remove and install pipe and other as needed to complete operations.
- Wash down rig floor areas using high-pressure water, steam, air, and cleaning as required.
- Ensures all loads leaving the rig floor are rigged properly and have tag lines attached.
- Greases, lubricates and performs minor repairs to rig floor equipment. Inspects machinery.
- Cleans and services drilling sub and equipment before removing them from the rig floor.
- Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance on the derrick structure while using safe operating procedures and proper PPE.
- Assist Derrick Hand with mixing mud operations and checking drilling fluid properties.
- Assist with floor operations when necessary.
- Assist with assembly and disassembly of BOP
- Assist in rigging up and running casing or other tasks as directed.
- Ability to enter confined spaces.
- Responsible for keeping worksite, equipment and tools clean and in good working order.
- Regular attendance consistent with the Company Attendance Policy.
- All other duties as assigned by management.

Schedule: Day shift | Monday to Friday | Overtime | Weekends as needed
