Minimum Qualifications for a Roustabout:
- Must be physically fit and able to climb and work at heights
- Ability to do physical labor for long hours in all types of weather
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather
- Ability to lift in excess of 75 pounds
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass our background check and drug screen
- Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable under our company policy, must be 21 years of age
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Guide cranes, hoists, or other moving or lifting equipment
- Walk flow lines to locate leaks, using electronic detectors and by making visual inspections, and repair leaks
- Locate equipment or materials in need of repair or replacement
- Maintain and move extraction or excavation equipment
- Move pipe to and from trucks, using truck winches and motorized lifts, or by hand
- Dismantle and repair oil field machinery using hand and power tools
- Clean up spilled oil or fluids by a variety of cleaning techniques
- Did holed, trenches, and drainage ditched around wells and storage tanks
