We are looking for an Assistant Commissary Services Site Manager to join our growing team of professionals. Requirements : Job summary
- Responsible for the efficient operation of commissary services at a particular detention center or multiple detention centers as assigned.
- Responsible for placing orders manually or electronically for inmates. Receiving, separating, and preparing individual inmate commissary orders for distribution to inmates in the respective assigned housing location.
- Distributing individual commissary orders to inmates at times and locations as directed by the facility administrator.
- Properly handling shortages or damages for orders within company policy.
- Caring for and maintaining any on-site products and keeping the work areas clean.
- Maintaining equipment necessary to carry out the commissary functions at assigned facilities.
- Provide general hardware service to computers, onsite kiosks and related equipment as well as basic software maintenance and assistance.
- Assist facility staff with basic software training and operation.
- Work closely with the Site Manager and the Regional Manager to provide best in class service to the assigned facility(ies) including reporting service or relationship issues immediately.
- Supervise other employees as assigned.
Summary of essential job functions
Minimum requirements
Possess the skill to accurately count and maintain records on large amounts of cash.
A general working knowledge of company software and related hardware used at assigned facilities to conduct the commissary operation.
Read and comprehend documentation written at a nationally accepted high school level.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Have the ability to work in a secure corrections environment
Possess excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
Abilities required
Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Lift items weighing up to sixty (60) pounds to a height of 54 inches
Ability to communicate verbally
Vision (with correction) 20 / 40
Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
