The Culinary Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and dining services. This position is responsible for overseeing food preparation, menu planning, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The Culinary Manager will lead a team of culinary professionals, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection while managing inventory and resources efficiently.
Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared according to recipes and safety standards.
- Plan and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Manage shift schedules for kitchen staff, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on food handling techniques, presentation, and service standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of supplies to minimize waste while meeting demand.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Handle customer feedback regarding food quality and service, making adjustments as necessary.
Skills
