Job Title : Lead Machine Operator - 1st shift
Pay : $21.00 - $23.00 per hour (D.O.E)
Location : Huntington Beach, Ca
Schedule : Mon-Fri; 5 : 15am - 2 : 00pm
Job Overview :
We are seeking a skilled PVD Lead Machine Operator to oversee daily production operations, guide a team of 5-15 employees, and ensure efficient workflow and quality standards. This role involves machine set-ups, equipment operation, quality control, and training team members. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, manufacturing experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee day-to-day production operations, including machine set-ups and equipment operation.
Lead and guide a team of 5-15 employees, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Monitor and maintain workflow to meet production timelines and quality requirements.
Conduct quality control checks on coated and uncoated parts.
Train and assist team members in proper PVD processing techniques.
Maintain accurate production reports and communicate with supervisors regarding issues or delays.
Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements :
High school diploma or G.E.D.
5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with mechanical and computer-controlled machinery.
1 year of leadership experience preferred.
Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.
Work Environment :
Exposure to heat, cold, dust, and moderate noise.
May require working with adhesives and power tools.
