Position : Maintenance Mechanic
Working Hours : 11 : 00pm- 7 : 30 am (OT as Needed)
Working Days : Monday -Friday (Saturday's as Needed)
Pay Rate : $27 to $31 DOE
Job Duties :
- Analyze equipment malfunctions and determine cause using mechanical, pneumatic and electrical skills
Perform electrical troubleshooting of secondary plant distribution system (switch gear, breaker panels, wiring / busses, junction boxes, switches, outlets, etc.).
Familiarization with local, state and national building codes including the NEC.
Calibrate and adjust plant instrumentation.
Perform minor instrument repairs.
Familiarization with common preventative maintenance practices as well as the importance of the record keeping accuracy associated with it.
Process work orders utilizing a computerized maintenance system.
Active participation in a project lead role as required.
Perform all duties of a Mechanic I.
Participates in plant safety / housekeeping audits to ensure a safe work environment
Requirements :
Highly recommended the candidate hold a certification / license in one or more of the following areas : HVAC, plumbing, electrical, welding or general construction.
Electrical experience a plus. Ability to make routine decisions and report / communicate malfunctions to management. Demonstrated ability to read and understand blue prints, wiring diagrams, etc.
