What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swiss/Turn-Mill CNC Programmer position at Kimco Staffing?
We are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Programmer to join our growing team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have experience with Swiss lathes, CNC turn-mill machines, and 3-axis mills. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining CNC programs, setting up machines, and ensuring high-quality production of parts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Program Swiss CNC lathes, turn-mill machines, and 3-axis mills using CAD / CAM software (e.g., Part-Maker, FeatureCam).
Set up and produce first-piece parts on machines, ensuring accurate dimensions and tolerances.
Develop setup sheets and communicate tooling / fixture requirements to machinists.
Monitor job progress, verify accuracy, and adjust programs as needed.
Work with the team on process improvements and cycle time reductions.
Assist with machine setup, troubleshooting, and inspection methods.
Collaborate with Quality Engineers to ensure product quality and perform First Piece Inspections (FPIs).
Requirements :
Proficiency with Fanuc controls and multi-axis machining.
Strong understanding of machining fundamentals, tool selections, and cutting parameters.
Experience with measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.
Knowledge of AS9100 quality systems and ITAR compliance.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP software.
