Overview
Kimley-Horn's Atlanta,GA office is seeking a Power Studies Engineer with 4 years of experience to join their Electrical team. With a focus on serving clients within the power delivery and renewable energy sectors, the Power Studies Engineer will act as a technical expert in the design, analysis, and optimization of electrical power systems. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities
- Support the power electrical team to analyze systems, create software models, and write reports for various projects e.g. commercial, industrial and generation projects
- Assist with project design, specifications, and plans support
- Review work with quality in mind to confirm compliance with Kimley-Horn quality standards
- Studies performed may include (per candidate experience) :
Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination studies using ETAP or SKM
