The successful candidate will be a leader in a practice specializing in MEP services in the Healthcare industry. This individual will have an entrepreneurial spirit and create a vision for growth for an MEP practice while growing their own projects, clients and team around them.
This position leads business development efforts, manages relationships with key clients, and oversees all project tasks while mentoring the growth of younger staff. The successful candidate will have a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business. Responsibilities
- Project Management role is in conjunction with lead engineer responsibilities.
- Requires the ability to oversee the MEP design of projects from concept to completion, including continuous interface with the design team and clients.
- Proven design experience with comfort and MEP systems and related controls
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking ability
- Write responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications for various clients and marketing opportunities
- Ability to work individually or in a multi-discipline team
- Mentor and coordinate the work of designers and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects
- Manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidance
- Strong desire to grow and lead a MEP practice
- Our Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor
- The successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business
