Overview
Kimley-Horn is currently seeking a Civil Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our Transit team in the Bay Area (specifically Oakland, Pleasanton, San Jose, and San Mateo). This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
- The selected candidate will contribute to the production and delivery of transit and rail / track design projects with a particular focus on, but not limited to Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) projects.
- Various tasks may include corridor concept development, assistance in public outreach, and transit evaluation.
- This role will require a high degree of multi-disciplinary coordination.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are critical.
Qualifications
Transit corridor design experience, focused on (but not limited to) BRT and LRT modes
Salary Range : 125,000 - $185,000
