Kimley-Horn's San Antonio, Texas (TX) office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2 years of experience to join their Aviation team.
Responsibilities
Our team has experienced sustained growth in airside, landside, and terminal engineering projects. Qualifications
- A (Bachelors or Masters) technical degree in these majors with 2 years experience:
- Civil, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
- EIT Certification Preferred
- Knowledge/experience or interest in Airport Landside/Terminal or Airside Engineering
- Engineering experience including pavement design, stormwater analysis and design, utility design, site grading, and permitting
- Demonstrates passion for airport/transportation engineering and multi-discipline projects
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong technical/report writing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to apply technical skills to meet project demands and solve problems for our clients
- Ability to coordinate and direct support staff on specific tasks
- Clear sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines
- Attention to details and ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- Passion and demonstrated drive to achieve goals
