Overview
Kimley-Horn's Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PA) office is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with 12 years of experience to join their Transit team!
Responsibilities
- The selected candidate will contribute to the production and delivery of transit design projects with a particular focus on, but not limited to Freight Rail and Light Rail Transit (LRT) projects.
- Various tasks may include corridor concept development, assistance in public outreach, and transit evaluation.
- This role will require a high degree of multi-disciplinary coordination.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are critical.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) License in PA and MN
- 12 years of transit-focused engineering experience including:
- Transit corridor design experience, focusd on (but not limited to) LRT modes
- Track/guideway design
- Outgoing, self-motivated team player
- High level of proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience communicating and working with clients
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and detail-orientation
- Ability to balance priorities among multiple projects
