Position Overview
As a Senior Power Delivery Engineer at Kimley-Horn, you will be at the forefront of designing and analyzing complex electrical systems that power the future. From renewable generation and energy storage to utility-scale substations, you'll be responsible for leading the design and development of projects that make a tangible impact. You will play a critical role in developing technical solutions, managing projects, and supporting the growth of our Power Delivery practice.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and analysis for complex electrical systems in renewable generation, energy storage, and utility-scale substation projects.
- Develop and review design documents and reports, including electrical layouts, equipment schematics, block diagrams, system calculations, and one-line diagrams.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating across Kimley-Horn offices to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Prepare project specifications, electrical construction cost estimates, and proposals to support business development and growth of the Power Delivery service area.
- Take the lead in business development efforts, focusing on the growth of our Power Delivery practice in the local market and beyond.
- Manage projects profitably, ensuring the successful delivery of electrical engineering projects while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Mentor and lead teams, providing guidance to junior engineers and fostering a collaborative, positive work environment.
- Grow and lead the Power Delivery practice, helping to establish goals, strategy, and vision for continued success.
Leadership Responsibilities
Salary : $140,000 - $200,000
