Overview
Kimley-Horn is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineering Practice Builder with 12 years of experience to join Kimley-Horn of DC! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
- The qualified individual will lead and expand a MEP team and practice while building and managing relationships with key clients.
- Requires the ability to oversee the HVAC design of projects from concept to completion, including continuous interface with the design team and clients.
- Write responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications for various clients and marketing opportunities
- Ability to work individually or in a multi-discipline team
- Mentor and coordinate the work of designers and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects
Qualifications
- 12 years of related experience
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Experience mentoring and coordinating the work of EITs, designers, and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects
- Experience in AutoCAD and Revit is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking ability
Base Salary Range:
- $160,000 - $200,000
- Eligible for performance-based bonus compensation
