About the Position :
Our client is seeking a Financial Controller with experience and passion towards agriculture, manufacturing, sustainable infrastructure, and overall interested in being a great steward of our resources in such a way that fosters leaving the world better tomorrow than it is today. Position reports to CEO and Board of Directors
Requirements :
- Bachelors Degree (minimum requirement) in Accounting, Finance, or similar.
- MUST have Cost Accounting experience (e.g. cost of goods)
- MUST have proven technical software and reporting skills (e.g. ERP, Excel, etc.)
- MUST have proven background of increasing levels of responsibility, ideally working with CFO and leadership team to drive the success of the business.
- MUST have experience and proficiency in multiple faucets of an operating business, to include budgeting, payroll, financial analysis, inventory management, etc. (Strong preference for individuals coming from agriculture, manufacturing, or similar product oriented businesses).
- MUST be experienced and willing to work within a lean team whereby you are interested in being entrepreneurial, assist the CEO in driving the success of the business, and working autonomously.
- MUST have experience as a strategic thinker / problem solver and possess superb communication skills.
- Preference, but not a requirement, individuals whom have worked for PE Backed / Sponsor backed companies
