We are a full-scope contractor with the ability to professionally manage and self-perform all phases of commercial plumbing projects from design and fabrication to installation and service. We can manage the water and waste supply needs of municipalities and campus-style facilities managing the design and implementation of all pump and plumbing systems from water / wastewater treatment to pumps, lift stations, and well houses.
About the Position :
This position is responsible for all tasks necessary to put together a complete project estimate. This position manages projects from bid monitoring and preparation through project budgeting. This position will be responsible for projects of varying sizes and complexities including assigned projects. This position takes full responsibility for project estimation to ensure a successful bid and budgeting for the project managers and the company.
Responsibilities :
- Identify new project opportunities
- Attend pre-bid meetings and walkthroughs
- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents and procure all necessary information required for the estimate
- Follow up with General Contractors / Engineers on budgeting questions and pricing as needed
- Perform bid layouts, material counts, and prepare totals
- Perform detailed material take-offs of project per system
- Procure all necessary quotes and subcontractor coordination
- Create project estimates and prepare the proposals and documentation for submission
- Create budget for project managers and field foreman based off estimate
