Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to develop high-strength composite products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials science, industrial engineering, or a related field, as well as significant experience with polymer processing techniques.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development of high-strength composite products
• Design and implement innovative solutions to meet client demands
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science, Industrial, Mechanical, Composite or Product Design Engineering
• Significant experience with one or more of the following polymer processing techniques: injection molding, profile extrusion, thermoplastic pultrusion, and fiberglass/resin production
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Experience using design of experiments and six sigma principles to optimize processes (highly desirable)
• Ability to plan and execute innovative, multi-disciplinary research and technology development projects within predefined specifications and deadlines
