Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage on-site logistics, ensuring that construction work progresses in accordance with the project schedule and budget.
- Oversee safety programs, quality control, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Interpret project plans, specifications, and other documents to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress and ensure project milestones are being achieved.
- Manage subcontractors, field personnel, and suppliers, ensuring their work aligns with project goals.
- Maintain open lines of communication with owners, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Develop and manage punch lists and assist in project closeout activities.
- Address any issues or problems that may arise, making necessary adjustments to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a preference for General Contracting experience.
- Proven ability to manage and instruct field personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring quality work and meeting project deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate company goals into actionable steps.
- Proven track record of completing projects on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably Construction or Civil Engineering Disciplines). Relevant work experience in the Superintendent’s Position is an acceptable substitute for College Degree.
